MY GP Tamworth Practice Communication Policy

At MY GP Tamworth, we prioritize effective and clear communication with our patients. Below is our communication policy outlining how and when we handle telephone calls and electronic communications.

Telephone Calls

  • Reception Availability: Our reception staff are available to take your calls during regular business hours, Weekdays 8am-8pm & Weekends 9am-4pm (Please note these hours may differ subject to bookings).
  • After-Hours Calls: For urgent after-hours inquiries, please contact 13CURE.
  • Returning Calls: We aim to return all non-urgent calls within 24 hours. Urgent calls will be prioritized and addressed as soon as possible.

Electronic Communications

  • Email Inquiries: You can reach us via email at [insert email address here]. We strive to respond to all email inquiries within 24 hours during business days.
  • Follow-Up: We will follow up on electronic communications as needed, based on the urgency and nature of your inquiry.

Confidentiality and Privacy

We ensure that all communications adhere to privacy and confidentiality standards. Please be mindful that electronic communications may not always be secure, and for sensitive matters, we recommend calling the practice on 02 5701 5533 or discussing in-person.
